Been loving Hacienda since 1989 when I had my 1st meal here. Always Excellent Service, Staff, Food, Variety, one of my favorite fun restaurants in my top #5 always..
We haven't been here in a couple years but it was great. Our order was perfect (which it normally isn't) and our waitress did a fanaminal job. It was great!
Burrito bowl was delicious! Brought home half of it for another meal. Staff was friendly and fun.
I LOVED the "food truck" tacos, especially the Korean one, which is a little weird to say about a Tex-Mex restaurant, but it works (on a related note, a food truck in Austin, TX, exists called Chi'lantro that serves Mexican-Korean Fusion food). The desserts and appetizers are also very scrumptious.
I will never understand the draw of this place. I ordered a chimichanga. It was a hot pocket with white meat? inside. That's it! I will not be returning. I will patronize a local, mom & pop establishment next time I'm in the mood for real Mexican cuisine.
Let me preface this review with this fact: the food and menu are NOT AUTHENTIC. It's very "American-ized."
