My niece, Wanda Yoder, was a resident since 1986, suffering from tubular sclerosis, causing her severe mental disabilities. She was loved by the staff and when her health began to fail, she was cared for with details of love. When she entered Hospice care, they moved her to the room next to the Nurses Station on Birch wing. The butterflies on the shelves and walls comforted us as a family when we visited her. We felt the love from being in the room and when she entered coma and seizures, the staff never left her alone. On her very last day on earth, her room was constantly visited by staff who wanted to say goodbye. In her final hours, she was not aware of her surroundings but I KNOW for sure she felt the love. As an aunt, I was comforted in hearing the stories she was a part of all these years but most of all I saw the tears and grief as Courtyard said goodbye. You all cared for her, you were her family when we could not be there for her. THANK YOU THANK YOU . The care she received went way beyond the standards and I am comforted by all the love. I will always treasure the memories of her final days. The staff of Courtyard know how to help patients and families through difficult times. Thank you again.
It was very difficult to put our grandmother in a nursing center. The staff at Courtyard have made it much more bearable by their kindness and wonderful care of her. She couldn't be in a better facility. All the staff work together to make sure the residents are taken care of. They truly care. We can't say thank you enough.
I've worked for Courtyard health care center for 5 years and I have felt nothing but love from the whole staff we work together we work as a team we get the job done and they will forever be in my heart
I also loved how they allowed me and my siblings access to visit our Dad anytime. I would take him out on a stroll through their well manicured and beautiful gardens in the front and in the back of the facility during the day. And eat dinner with him in the private, beautiful end rooms in each wing at night. When my Dad had to placed in Hospice Care, they gave us a private room that we could be around our Dad 24/7 as he passed on to be with the Lord. The staff was so attentive to my Dad's EVERY need and so attentive to us as well providing us with comfort, concern, and bringing in trays of snacks and drinks. They made it the best possible passing that we could have hoped for. And they do it all out of love, even crying with us at the loss of our dear Dad. I will ever be grateful to all those at Courtyard for their beautiful spirits in caring for my Dad! It truly is a God Blessed Home with staff that care - a treasure which is hard to find in today's world!
All the Courtyard Healthcare staff are amazing and so very loving! They treated my Father like he was their own father. That meant the world to me! My sibllings and I had a difficult time deciding whether we should place our Dad in a Home, but after we made the decision to place him at Courtyard and got him in, we were so glad we did! Courtyard is not your stereotypical nursing home! It actually feels like a home with love and caring like no other-- all due to their incredible caring staff! Also the facility is beautiful, bright, and clean (so unlike most nursing homes!) and that means alot too.
